Being on the move for most of my adult life has taught me many lessons, including learning how to quickly analyze a situation, find solutions to obstacles and implement a plan to come to a swift and satisfying resolution. It also taught me that, after 20 years in the sales/marketing industry, I was ready to find a permanent home in the South and a career that would allow me to help others while spending more time at home with my daughter and husband.
A native of Huntsville, I spent all of my formative years in Alabama, only moving away after college to Colorado and then Georgia. After my husband proposed, we moved to Florida to start our new life. His career then took us to Texas, Louisiana and, finally, Franklin, Tennessee. As my daughter was entering grade school, I wanted to be closer to my family and friends in the South, and this charming town just outside of Nashville fit the bill perfectly.
I’ve always had a personal mission to “give back.” After settling in Tennessee, I felt I was finally able to do that on a daily basis by becoming a mortgage loan originator. I’ve always been good at uncovering customers’ needs and nurturing long-term relationships. But now, at Accurate Mortgage Group, I have a career where I can also add value to others’ lives and be fulfilled at the end of the day.
I go above and beyond to deliver personalized service and to establish an emotional connection with my clients. I am an open and honest communicator, and I’m a great listener. I aim to give my clients more than they expect, and I do so with sincerity and integrity.
My free time is spent with my family enjoying any number of activities. I love college football, sports, live music, gardening, cooking, hiking, fishing, anything outdoors and, especially, volunteering my time to help children and the seniors in our community. I’ve been a Girl Scout Troop Leader, a Reader Leader, aided the Red Cross, delivered meals for Meals For the Elderly and was involved with the Women’s Service League. I am currently an Alzheimer’s advocate and will continue to volunteer with the Girl Scouts. I try to lead by example and teach my daughter how important it is to give back to the community in which a person lives. I couldn’t be more pleased to be settled in a town and a company where I can help make lasting positive change.
