When you come from a small town like Jasper, GA, as I do, helping others in any way you can is really just a part of your growing-up experience. I never knew back then that I’d one day be able to find a way to use my desire to help others together with my talent for numbers in a career that would be so perfectly suited to me.
A degree in business finance led me to the banking industry, where I assisted clients with all kinds of loans. I eventually found that it was helping people with home equity lines of credit that I enjoyed the most. The possibilities that type of loan opened up for people was inspiring to me and, eventually, it led me to doing more of the same type of work in the mortgage industry.
I’m proud to say that, for more than 20 years now, I’ve been able to help those in the communities where I’ve lived to achieve their home financing goals. Nothing makes me happier than letting a client know their loan request for purchasing a new home or for lowering their monthly payment has been approved.
An open line of communication between all parties involved in the loan process is my top priority. I’ve found that it’s the best way to make sure the process moves along efficiently so my clients can get closed quickly.
After 12 years living on Hilton Head Island in SC, I moved to Nashville. I’ve been here seven years now and couldn’t be happier. When I’m not assisting clients, you can mostly likely find me outside running or walking my dog, or out and about town listening to live music and/or tasting my way through the menu of a newly opened restaurant.
